I bought these blankets for use in a make-shift sound studio. They were advertised thicker than they actually are. Thankfully I was able to double them up and they worked well. I'm not using them for moving furniture, but if I were I might want something thicker. The length and width are great for my purposes.Used these moving blankets and bungee cords to protect palms against sub freezing temperature drop. Palm trees that have smooth trunks lack the extra insulation to protect the plant against severe winter drops.These blankets are rather thin but they worked out fine as a barrier between my tent floor and the ground when I doubled the layers. I specifically purchased them for this camping purpose and doubled up they were perfect.These were great for wrapping up our counter height table stools. It took two to wrap up our full-size barstools- AICO Amini ones. Good for a little bit of padding for our storage unit. I was happy with the purchase and the price.We used this along with plastic wraps to protect the furniture in a move. It is not thick, but it was good enough.I used these with some steel clips to make a thermal barrier on my closed garage door while doing some extended work in the garage in the summer time. That way I could air condition the garage by putting a fan in the door to the main house.They look like they would hold up fine for occasional use if they are handled with reasonable care. The stitching looks good. They aren't the super heavy duty type things a moving company would use, but they aren't priced that way either. They came well packed in a tight plastic roll.One side is dark blue, and the other is black.Used these when I was moving they are great value. I put furniture on them and was able to drag the furniture thru the house by myself and they are great for covering up your delicate items that you are loading in a storage container...As someone who grew up in the moving industry, I will highly recommend these pads to anyone needing good furniture pads to protect their precious antiques or to keep the scratches off your modern products. The size is exactly as describedI selected only 4 stars because they are slightly thinner, not much just noticeable, than the few old pads I still have from my grandfathers day but those are from 50 years ago. Buy with confidence.
